They might be on hiatus blah blah yada yada, but that doesn't mean One Direction aren't still slaying the game left, right and centre. After picking up the Top Duo/Group gong at the Billboard Music Awards the other week, their latest ('last' sounds kinda final) single 'History' has just been certified platinum in the UK.
Literally what break tbh.
It's hardly surprising considering it's an absolute bop and a half, but now the tune's officially sold over 600,000 copies over here and we're obviously well chuffed for 'em. Taking to Twitter, the BPI (British Phonographic Industry, ooh) people announced: "'History' by @onedirection is now Platinum. Congrats! #bpiAwards."
That makes it the boys' fourth single to go platinum alongside 'What Makes You Beautiful,' 'Story of My Life' and 'Steal My Girl.' HOORAY and, indeed, HOORAH.
